Instead of using a shared Skipto address, create links using a domain or subdomain you control. Your dynamic QR codes contain those addresses.

What happens if you leave Skipto?

Keep the domain, then recreate each short-link path on replacement hosting. Manual 301 redirects can send those addresses to your chosen destinations without changing the printed QR codes.

Record every short-link path and its destination before leaving.
Set up matching redirects on the replacement host.
Keep HTTPS working for the domain.
Switch DNS and test every important code before ending the old setup.

This preserves the route to your destination, not Skipto’s analytics, microsites or other account features. A shared Skipto address cannot be transferred to a domain you own.

Choose the domain before printing

A code already printed with a shared address still contains that address. To benefit from your own domain, create the code with that domain at the start.
