Make a long website address easier to share, and keep track of how often the link is used.
Log in to Skipto before you begin. The controls shown in your account may vary with the type of link or QR code you choose.
1. Choose one destination
Open the page you want customers to reach and copy its full https:// address. Use the exact service, quote or product page rather than making visitors search from the home page.
2. Create the link
Log in to Skipto and open the link creation area. Paste your destination address, choose an available domain and give the link a name you will recognise later, such as Plumbing flyer — October.
3. Choose a useful short address
If you use a custom alias, keep it short and easy to read. Check it is available before saving. Keep a record of the finished short URL.
4. Test the complete journey
Open the short link in a private browser window and on a phone. Check that it reaches the right page and that any enquiry form or purchase button works.
5. Share and review
Use the short URL in the promotion it was created for. Give each campaign its own link if you want to compare activity. Click totals measure link activity; they do not by themselves confirm a sale or enquiry.
