Set up an after-hours booking QR code

Help someone at your closed shop door request their next appointment.

Log in to Skipto before you begin. The controls shown in your account may vary with the type of link or QR code you choose.

1. Check the booking page

Open your existing booking page on a phone. Confirm that services, availability and the booking or request process are clear.

2. Create a door-specific link

Create a Skipto tracked link to the booking page. Name it Shop door so its activity can be distinguished from flyers or other promotions.

3. Create the dynamic code

Generate a dynamic link QR code for this destination. Download it and place it beside your opening hours with “Closed now? Book online.”

4. Explain what happens next

On the booking page, say whether submitting the form confirms an appointment or sends a request for your team to review. Keep a phone number visible for people who prefer to call.

5. Test at the door

Check scanning from outside in daylight and after dark. Reflections, tinted glass and indoor lighting can affect readability.

6. Keep the same door sign

If you change booking providers, update the existing dynamic link destination. Test the printed sign and complete the booking journey again.
